2011년 12월 1일 부터 농림수산식품부 국립수의과학검역원에서는 마이크로칩 이식 및 광견병중화항체가 검사를 주 내용으로 한 새로운 개, 고양이의 수입 검역 방법을 시행할 예정이오니 참고 바랍니다.끝.

붙임.

 2011.12.1일부터 한국으로 수입되는 개, 고양이에 대한 수입 검역규정이 마이크로칩 이식, 광견병중화항체가 검사를 주 내용으로 하여 다음과 같이 변경되어 시행됩니다.

ꊱ 마이크로칩 이식 및 광견병 중화항체가 검사

 □ 개, 고양이는 마이크로칩을 이식하여야 하고 식별번호는 검역증명서에 기재되어야 함

 □ 개, 고양이는 선적 전 3개월에서 24개월 사이에 광견병 국제공인기관에서 광견병중화항체역가시험을 받아야 하고 중화항체가가 최소 0.5IU/ml 이상임이 검역증명서에 기재되어야 함

     다만, 광견병 비발생지역과 90일령 미만은 제외됨

ꊲ 구비서류 및 휴대 두수

 □ 수출정부기관이 발생한 동물검역증명서

  ○ 마이크로칩 이식번호, 광견병중화항체가 검사 사항

 □ 사전신고 없이 수입이 가능한 두수 : 4두 이하

ꊳ 수입 검역기간

 □ 생후 90일 이상인 개, 고양이

  ○ 마이크로칩을 이식하고 검역증명서에 광견병중화항체가가 0.5IU/ml이상으로 기재된 경우에는 “당일” 개방

  ○ 마이크로칩을 이식하지 않은 경우에는 마이크로칩 이식이 완료될 때까지

  ○ 광견병 중화항체검사를 하지 않은 경우에는 중화항체가가 0.5IU/ml 이상 확인이 될 때까지

  ○ 광견병 중화항체가가 0.5IU/ml 이하인 경우에는 광견병예방접종 후 중화항체가가 0.5IU/ml 이상 확인이 될 때까지

  ○ 마이크로칩 이식과 광견병중화항체검사를 하지 않은 경우에는 마이크로칩 이식과 광견병예방접종 후 중화항체가가 0.5IU/ml 이상 확인이 될 때까지

 □ 생후 90일 미만 또는 광견병 비발생지역산 개, 고양이

  ○ 마이크로칩을 이식한 경우에는 당일 개방

    다만, 마이크로칩 이식을 하지 않은 경우에는 마이크로칩 이식이 완료 될 때까지

  ＊ 최근 3년간 개, 고양이 수입 실적이 있는 국가를 대상으로 함.

Quarantine regulations on dogs and cats import!ed to Korea

Quarantine regulations regarding import!ed dogs and cats to <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 />Korea are going to be changed and will be put in force on December 1 2011. Main changes of the regulations are microchip implantation and neutralizing antibody test to rabies. The detailed information is as follows.

1.              Microchip implantation and neutralizing antibody test to rabies

l       A microchip should be implanted into the animal’s body and identification number should be stated in the health certificate.

l       A neutralizing antibody test to rabies should be subjected in the internationally approved laboratories about rabies inspection not less than 3 months and not more than 24 months prior to shipment with a positive result equivalent to at least 0.5 IU/ml or higher. The test result should be stated in the health certificate. But this requirement doesn’t apply to the animals from rabies free region or under 90 days old.

2.              Required documents and number of animals permitted to carry on

l       Animal health certificate issued by exporting authorities

ü        Microchip identification number and information on neutralizing antibody test to rabies

l       The maximum number of animals permitted to be import!ed without pre-report : 4 or less

3.              Quarantine period

A.     Dogs and cats 90 days or older from the birth

l       In case that the animals were identified by a microchip implantation in their body and neutralizing antibody result to rabies was 0.5 IU/ml or higher: 1 day

l       In case that the microchip wasn’t implanted: Until the day of the completion of the microchip implantation

l       In case that the neutralizing antibody test was not conducted: Until the day the test result to rabies certifies 0.5 IU/ml or higher

l       In case that the neutralizing antibody test was below 0.5 IU/ml: Until the day the test result to rabies certifies 0.5 IU/ml or higher after vaccination

l       In case that no microchip implantation and no test for neutralizing antibody was performed: Until the day the microchip is implanted in their body and neutralizing antibody result to rabies certifies 0.5 IU/ml or higher

B.     Dogs and cats under 90 days old or from rabies free region

l       In case that the animals were identified by a microchip implantation: 1 day

l       In case that the microchip wasn’t implanted: Until the day of the completion of microchip implantation

4.              Internationally approved laboratories about rabies inspection(example)
