필리핀 의료계의 규제 및 면허와 필리핀 의과대학의 외국 의대 졸업생이 필리핀에서 의료 행위를 등록할 수 있는지 여부와 관련된 수많은 질문을 고려하여, 본 사무소는 2023년 3월 30일자로 필리핀 고등 교육 위원회(CHED)에서 인정한 의과 대학에서 의과 대학 학위를 수여한 외국 시민이 의사 면허 시험(PLE)을 치를 자격이 있음을 명확히 하고 있습니다.

 

개정된 "1959년 필리핀 의료법"으로 알려진 공화국법 제2382호 및 이와 관련된 기타 법률, 규칙 및 규정에 규정된 요구 사항을 준수합니다.

 

실로 외국 의대 졸업생은 PLE 응시를 신청할 수 있으며 개정된 "필리핀 의료법 2382호" 또는 "1959년 필리핀 의료법"으로 알려진 공화국법 2382호 및 이와 관련된 기타 법률, 규칙 및 규정에 따라 필리핀에서 의료 행위 등록 자격을 얻을 수 있습니다.

ADVISORY: Re: Clarification On The PRC Certification on Foreign Medical Graduates Dated 30 March 2023/ Posted on 17 July, 2023

 

In view of the numerous queries related to the regulation and licensing of the medical profession in the Philippines and concerning the issue of whether foreign medical graduates of Philippine medical schools are allowed to be registered to practice medicine in the country, this Office is clarifying its CERTIFICATION dated 30 March 2023 that foreign citizens conferred the degree of Doctor of Medicine by a College of Medicine recognized by the Philippines’ Commission on Higher Education (CHED), are eligible to take the Physician Licensure Examination (PLE), subject to their compliance with the requirements prescribed by Republic Act No. 2382, otherwise known as “The Philippine Medical Act of 1959”, as amended, and other laws, rules and, regulations pertinent thereto.

 

Verily, foreign medical graduates may then apply to take the PLE and be eligible for registration to practice medicine in the Philippines pursuant to Republic Act No. 2382, otherwise known as “The Philippine Medical Act No. 2382, otherwise known as “The Philippine Medical Act of 1959”, as amended, and other laws, rules and regulations pertinent thereto.”
